There are a lot of people here who don't like Bush - you've probably gathered that. The only people who really like him are his family because they have to and the die-hard Republicans who would like the devil if he were a Republican. He's even losing support among his strongest constituency, the Christian fundamentalist right. He's an idiot!!!

I do not approve of the things I have seen and heard come straight from the lips of our president, I do however love America and what we originally sought out when deciding to revolt against England. I also support our troops even though I don't agree with the reasons why we are there, and continue to remain there for just about no reason anymore (except to pi$s off the Iraqi people). I actually remember this quote by Theodore Roosevelt that for the most part says this " Patriotism doesn't mean that you have to agree with your leaders and elected officials, it means to stand by your country." Ever since running across this quote I look at the government in a whole different perspective, mainly because it was our president that said it although I don't know if he was president or even an elected official at the time. It is pretty much a proven fact that not everyone is going to be happy with what our commander in chief does or says, being as they are only human. Of course there are those occasional circumstances when it seems a leader does whatever they want and that is what seems to be happening, but that has nothing to do with the fact that all three brances of our government are Republicans. And I am not bashing because it is true, if there was enough Democratic pull the president would have been brought up on charges and probably impeached but that won't happen by his own party that seems to be the reason why the president was campaigning for the whole party this last election we had.

First of all, the office the President is far more stressful than most could imagine. That being said, I have not agreed with every decision he has made, mainly on social issues. The majority of our citizens do not take it apon themselve to seek out imfromation regarding world politics. Instead, they rely on the nightly news to tell them the facts on everything that happens in the world. The problem with that is that the media is bias, for example cnn leans liberal and fox news leans conservative. When it comes to the war in Iraq, weapons of mass destruction where found! however there were not nearly as many as we thought were there and I have yet to see that reported by any new channel, it was however in the "army times". Also the media has never reported what the Iraqi people think of their new government. It hear that side of the story you would have to speak with someone who has been to Iraq and has worked with Iraqi civilians( which i have done). They are greatful for what we are doing, however we only want us there until their government is stable enough to take care of itself because they don't want our culture( strip clubs, las vegas, things like this would not be exceptable in the muslim world). The people he( the president) has put around him are mainly conservatives with similar veiws, they well educated and very compotent but their veiws and opinions differ from some of the population. The main things to remember are : that is a hard job and you can not make everyone happy all of the time, opinions are like assholes everyone has one and most of them stink just becuase you opinion differs from another persons opinion doesn't make you right or them wrong, and take it upon yourself to educate yourself on what happens around the world and in your own country, one news station is not enough use every resource available.

First I don't know him so I can't say I dislike him. I do disapprove of statements he makes that are insenistive, Do not agree with his supporting Israel and some other issues. FEEl as though he is a little overwhelmed with world problems, so that I don't have a lot of confidence in him. I do believe he is doing the best he can with what he has.

You're English is great and better than some American's English, which is pretty scary! Yes, I do like my President. I voted for him both times he won. (The ideas that he "stole" the job has been proven to be lies by the very people who still claim it to be true.) I don't know much about your chancellor except that she is a woman.

No, he stole his office initially, subverts the constitution, is an incompetent manager who surrounds himself with equally incompetent ideologues, and lies the country into wars. But those are just a few of the reasons.

I like our President. He was left with the messes and inaction of eight years of rampant liberalism. Clinton should be squarely to blame for the problems that Bush is trying to straighten out.
