its called sleep paralasis. it seems like you freeze up and you can see different things around you and if you have the willpower you might be able to get up and follow or touch whatever is in the room with you. its quite hard to explain in fact doctors have no cure for it. tell me what you think about it! and have you ever experienced this before.

What you are describing is called hypnogognic hallucinations and sleep paralysis goes along with it.It can be very terrifying,especially when it includes sleep paralysis.I deal with it on a daily basis since I am narcoleptic.It can be an indication of narcolepsy you should be checked.

yes,I do.Mine usually starts with a dream wherein I can't move even on trying hard enough.Finally,I wake up and find myself in same paralytic situation for few seconds ,after that I seem to be ok.

I think I experienced this when I was pregnant i would wake up, but couldn't move anything but my eyes.
