Isn't it rather self-defeating, to have gobs of chubbieness hanging out where it should not be flaunted ? To some of us males, we shudder at the sight, simply because it makes us nauscious & extremely queasy,...
Oh I'm quite sympathetic, as i used to weigh about 473 lbs. myself - about 8 years ago.
I got sick of seeing myself every day, so I gave in and bought a bowflex. It took a long long looonnngg time, but I'm better now, and i still have a little self indulgence with the goodies - in moderation. I'm not ready to give up the little things that makes living worth - living my life a little better.

I CAN drive a car again, by myself (instead of having to ride in the back of a pick-up with the goats an other animals) and when I do wriggle into a snug outfit, I notice that guys actually do follow me with their eyes. But I still have a ways to go before I try wearing a micro one of these days. I'll probably be too old by then, lol!

I like meat on them female bones! OK? But, man, really, I've seen some women that are a size 18 in a size 2 outfit... looks like a 2-lb sack of lard holding in 18 pounds of lard... stretching at the seams and baffling everyone who's wondering, "What the....? Hey, lookee here, Earl; ain't that the strangest sight?"
Look, I honestly feel sorry for those women. Why? They're under the mistaken notion that they look good when the reality is that everyone is making fun of them... and they dont' realize it! It's sad and it's pitiful.
OK, so a woman has a little extra weight, she's a bit beyond pleasantly plump... does she have to show it to the world? And do they have to pull their pants so tight up that they walk around with smiling and grinning camel hoofs?
I don't blame her so much as I blame her friends and relatives that don't take the time to tell her the truth and let her make a fool of herself!
Sheesh, I've seen some women in some get-ups that... well, let me describe one. She was about 5' 4" and weighed about 230 pounds; she was offended that she couldn't fit in a seat next to another hefty person! Her pants where low-hip-huggers... her gut was hanging out, with flabs of flesh on her sides that might've passed for love-handles a few decades ago... then, she had public hair from her belly button going down... (somebody give her a razor blade and instructions on how to shave!). Then, she had no bra... her long tube-like or torpedo-like boobs were hanging loose inside her not too loose T-Shirt reaching down near her belly button... and when she turned around to leave, the crack of her butt was quite visible... ugh! She spoiled my appetite for breakfast, lunch and dinner for that day! She could've left her rollers at home! That was pure ghetto!
Fat is fat and some of us guys don't realize that we disgust women with our porcine appearance... (I may very well fit this category so I don't go to the beach or swimming pool in skimpy bathing suits).
I am not going to get into the make-up that woman was wearing... but someone should really tell her that make up is to highlight not masquerade in!

It's all about self-image.
For you it seems to remind you of the days when you were fat and unhappy with your appearance. A nasty reminder that you looked in the mirror and were disgusted with the fat. Obviously you didn't like the image on yourself, why would you on others?
For them it may be some have lost a few pounds and don't realize that 250lbs down to 246lbs doesn't qualify them for belly shirts.
I know guys that do like A LOT of extra cushioning on their women. Maybe that is what these women are hoping to attract....men who like the fat rolls....which means less hard work for that female to lose weight.
I'd say you had enough will power and drive to lose that weight and can't see why others do the same. Laziness, ignorance and no self respect is their problem. Ignore them and just hope that one day they wake up like you did and realize it needs to be fixed.
Good luck and that was an impressive feat losing that much weight!

I think they do it because they really don't think it looks bad. Or maybe they don't own a mirror. Or maybe they figure if you can still button or zip up the pants and the shirt still fits albeit a bit snug it is acceptable attire. And if you happen to see a girl in this sad state whatever you do don't stare. That may be the reason why you are getting queasy and nauscious! silly

Nicely said!
And congrats on losing weight - probably harder than quitting smoking.
I agree, I often wear tight clothes (I'm young and pretty in shape, give me a break) but I find it revolting when I see overweight women wearing really tight and revealing clothes. It's not attractive at all, and if they're not too overweight they can still get away with wearing flattering clothes - just as long as there's no chubbiness hanging out or anything. It just looks like they can't dress themselves, their clothes have shrunk, or they've been shopping in the kids section for belly tops. Yuck!

Good for you and the weight loss! It's a lot of work.
I agree with you, it's self-defeating, but a lot of the time these people are the shallow superficial ones who think that the rest of the world will judge them on clothing and image. And they just cant see that they have these "gobs of chubbiness." They honestly think they look good.

I don't wear tight clothes so I don't see what you mean. I think its a confidence thing when girls/women wear skimpy clothes. They are "trying" too hard to get attention because they are lacking in other departments. I use to wear skimpy clothes in highschool because I thought that was the only thing I had going for me now I toned it down and look more classy. What may look repulsive to some people may look hot to others. I don't judge I just look away if I see something I don't like.

Good For You!!
There is a theory that tight clothing or bindings gives the wearer a sense of security. Example: Securely bundling a baby in a blanket. Hugging some one tightly that has suffered a shock.
But it might just be a misguided trend!

For the same reason underweight women wear large clothing. They think it will make them appear bigger. A 'chubby' girl may think that wearing small clothing will make her look smaller. Or she may just want to show off her body regardless of what other people think.

it does attract guys. i'm in college now and the girls who don't wear tight clothes are the ones walking with other girls, and the girls who do are the ones holding hands with their boyfriends and stuff. tight clothes=easy sex for the guys, and girls know that. it brings gobs of attention. sometimes it isn't very attractive to guys, but trust me, most of the time, guys are very attracted to girls in tight clothes.
