Do the computer parts I want to buy to build my own computer comply with each other?

Question

I am going to be building myself a mid-range computer. I am not a gamer and don't need the high-end technologies, just so it can hold Internet, music, and digital photography well is all i need (I am a digital photographer.) Everything will be bought from Newegg.com, and I've checked the compatibility myself, but can other people make sure?

Everything here will work fine together. You don't need different memory, the motherboard will accept UP TO DDR2 800, meaning DDR2 533 will work fine. Make sure you remember a good power supply (I would recommend at least 400w) and a case, too.

If you do lots of multitasking, photo editing, CD/DVD burning, etc., you may want to look into the dual core Athlon X2 3800+. Due to AMD price slashes, the chip is currently at a mere $152. I just used one in a build for my parents, and it was worth every penny.

I've built a few computers, and these parts are making me envious. with 2 gigs or RAM and a 256 MB video card you will be able to handle any video or still image manipulation that is out there. Not only that, but its going to be fast. You might want a more "tried and true" motherboard brand like Asus, Abit, or Gigabit. And the same thing with the memory. Kingston or Corsair are the best. You can go cheap on the other stuff, but the motherboard and memory need to be good brands.

everything should work. did you make sure the ram is 100% compatable with your motherboard. website to check is www.corsairmicro.com

you might also want to update your motherboard bios to make sure it will work with your processor
