How many tickets will they let you buy at a movie theater if you have an id to buy rated r movie tickets? are you allowed to buy more than one?

I imagine as many as you want. I got 6 a few weeks ago for a group of people, but then again, I didn't get carded.

The same amount as if it were a G rated movie. Sometimes theaters won't let you buy more than 8 tickets unless you call in advance, but only if it's like opening weekend for a big movie.

You can buy as many as you like, unless they have a limit on the number of tickets you can buy for a show that's likely to sell out or something.
Also, if you're buying for minors, some cinemas check ID not at the box office, but where they take the tickets to allow you in, so you might want to be aware of that.

I havent heard of a theater yet that limits the number of tickets one can buy provided they have the funds for them at the time.
