Rest and liquids. The amount is different for each individual. You didn't say what you were recovering for. If it's another round, then you may not need that much but you do need to control your ejaculation. If you blew your wad, then you'll need a lot more time to recuperate.
If it's to play in the Super Bowl, then maybe it was better abstain and get the sleep you normally get. I like to drink water or decaf tea afterwards to replenish afterwards.

Don't men usually get really hungry (other than sleepy) when they have an orgasm? Try eating to get your energy back. Have caffeine or something....I'm not really sure.

For men, there really is no way. Your body is going to go through a period where it need to recooperate. You cant fight it, trust me I have tried.
