excluding Cloud and all the characters from Final Fantasy Advent Children because we all know who they are, I would say Shadow from FFIII, because he was such a cool-looking ninja (i named him snake-eyes since he had a pet dog).. also, there was Sabin, an awesome streetfighter, with his Fist of the North Star punches, hadoken fireballs, and super piledriver. and Cyan, with his sword combos.. say, these were my guys from the Phantom Forest scene!

Cloud is mostly the popular one its been used since
Even though its popular it doesnt mean its the best character
there are other characters that are better then him
the only thing i like about cloud is his 7 blades they kick ***!
but mine is the Chocobos they been on the Final Fantasy more then any character so i chocobos

Anyone from Final Fantasy VII were extremely popular, including Cloud Strife, Sephiroth, and Aeris Gainsborough. I believe Squall Lionheart from VIII and Tidus/Yuna from X were popular too but nothing beats VII.
But I gotta tell ya, the moogle is pretty damn popular too!

Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy 7, and the FF7 advent children movie. But I like Kadaj better.

Each game has it's own set of popular characters, but if you mean overall it's *imo* Sephiroth, Mog the Moogle or *fangirl sigh* Vincent Valentine. Sephy may have been in both Kingdom Hearts games but at least Vincent-sama is getting his own game! All Praise the Mighty Dirge of Cerberus!!!!

i am going have to say Cloud. I love Cloud and all But i like Vincent better. I would guess he is pretty popular too. Yuffie i just love her attitude. Almost anybody from the movie Advent Children is pretty popular. check out the links where you can find them alot.

I think it's cloud strife since he's known for a long time... I mean, ff 7 was created 9 years ago... I prefer Tidus though since ff10 is the only game i played among the ff games...
