and he said if i do a sport of his then he will try my sport in 9th grade which is tennis.

If you find the sport fun than yeah do it, but don't find it fun than don't do it just to make him happy. There should be other stuff you can do together for fun.

Why not? He's looking for a way to spend more time with you and since he has offered the same courtesy your way you should at lest give it a shot. As long as he doesnt suggest something dumb like Greco-Roman Wrestling. and who knows, you might even enjoy it.

if u love that sports as well u better do. but if u don't feel for that, that will never help & that may become a reason for misunderstangdings

you should do a sport you're into. but i also suggest trying new sports just to see if you're into it. who knows, you'll suprise yourself. but dont' do it to make him happy, do it because you want to.
