So agree! One was a penalty by Zidane and one was an own goal! Both were actually scored luckily!

Yes, solid as ever. I was quite pleased with Lippi's emphasis on offence though. The Italians always had a problem scoring in the past but the defence was awesome. I knew they would still be stingy allowing goals but with a new offensive punch, they will be effective. Turns out it worked quite well.
In fact they should have done it long ago with the quality strikers they had in past world cups. If they keep it up, watch out in the next WC.

Dikk..yes the defense was awesome in the world cup and we definitely have the best goalkeeper in the world.The amazing thing with the Italian team is that they play with their heart and soul.
BTW..give it up already!

probably the best ever. it would of been for sure the best ever if Nesta would of played all the games and if Paolo Maldini would of played too even though hes old he is very good.

ye u r absolutly rite, they have the best denfense in the world. But for the next wc... i donno, most of thm mite retire... But for dis Wc they had the strongest denfens, Though nesta didnt play due to injury
