this is a tech ? & i need real help;how do i keep the search engine from saving my past entries in a drop down

it may seem like a simple thing, but unfortunately i am completely unaware of how to get this together

yahoo & google are the search engines; i did go through and delete the history, but in the engine it still drops down with all that i have looked up/for; thanx for the answers

If you are using IE, click Tools/Internet Option/Clear History !

do you have yahoo tool bar installed? or google at that?

You need to uninstall the tool bar..
