my ipod just wont get recognised when i connect it to my pc. my pc says that its malfunctioned. what does that mean and what can i do to get it working. it plays music but i cant add or change the music thats on it now. thanks

I would try a different USB slot on your computer. It will probably work then. If not, check to see if there any Windows Updates that you are missing and try again. If you are using Windows XP, the process should be very easy. If you are using an older version of Windows, it may be a bit more difficult, but doable.

you might need to reinstall the driver if you have an older system, otherwise, call tech support
