I know that iSync doesn't support Samsung phones. A friend of mine mentioned that BitPen is supposed to bridge the link. But, it looks like it only supports CDMA phones and not GSM phones. The model that I'm interested in is a GSM phone with Bluetooth. I'm looking at SGH-D807 (Cingular) & T809 (T-mobile), which appear to be basically the same model.

Does anyone know if there is a protocol / software out there that will help me to bridge the gap so I can update my address book and transfer photos from my phone to my computer?

(I use MAC OSX's address book & iPhoto.)

The reason may not be that it's a Samsung, but that it doesn't support the specific Bluetooth profiles as defined by SIG. Check the link below to learn about the different profiles, but the one you're looking for to sync address book and iCal is the file transfer protocal, which is available on the Samsung SCH-i730, for example. When you're shopping for your phone, and it says bluetooth, look down at the fine print and it will usually tell you what Bluetooth profiles are covered by that phone.
