.I had this conversation with myself recently. Why do I go off on one over little things. I insisted with myself that I didn't and then all hell broke loose. I refused to make up with myself and even now am barely on speaking terms with myself.... well, I'd say at the moment my personalities are definitely split :o(
......!! Is there a doctor in the house !! .........
Seriously.....
It might be an idea to sit down with your local GP and explain to him what you feel and there will be some help he can give you even if it is to simply point you in the right direction. You may just have something on your mind and little things upset you. I would suggest you don't worry as it happens to a lot of people... a few herbal remedies might help you mellow out a bit but talk to your GP...
good luck...

I strongly suspect that it is an acquired character trait brought on be emotional factors. If your life depended on it (literally), I'm sure that you would find yourself able to control your behaviour. That said, it can be immensely difficult with that constraint removed (especially living in the grouchy, problematic society that we do). I feel that you really need to deal with this now (meditation works wonders if you have the patience, or simply remove yourself from the offending area without festering on the injustice of it) - if you let yourself slip into a behavioural pattern of aggressive intolerance you will become hard-wired this way, and may find it impossible to stop without serious psychological treatment. Don't feel that you are already there - think about it, you have the power to govern the way that you live life.

Chris, It is doubtful that you have split personality; since it is not that common. You could be suffering from depression. Do not rely on the internet for help with mental health issues. Make an appointment to see a psychiatrist, or psychologist. Good luck. Dona G.

We can all get stressed out at times; besides, if you do have a split personality you could end up doing the test twice because each personality might not know the other has done it.

There is no real diagnosis of "split personality"; there is "Multiple Personality Disorder" but it's my understanding that it is very rare and very difficult to receive a diagnosis for it. There will not be a legitimate online test for it.
If you are really concerned about your behaviour, don't rely on the internet to diagnose you. Go to your doctor and explain your concerns to him/her. You could have bipolar disorder, depression, or any number of diagnoses, or it could be something else. Good luck.

Having studied Psychology for some time now, I have come to believe that personality tests are of no use. People are complicated, and personalitys are made up of a complex tapestry. I think you just need to talk to somebody who is willing to listen to you. x

You are describing exactly, my son's moods and behaviour patterns... and he, is Asperger Syndrome!
He'd tried to label himself as Bipolar... but he decidedly isn't!
Bipolar is manic depression.
Why not go here and check it out before you start classing yourself as mentally disabled... since AS is not a mental illness, it's a condition you are born with due to a chemical imbalance.
Go here first:
www.tonyattwood.com
(this guy is the best in Asperger Syndrome, he diagnosed my ex and son... he's British born and trained, now living in Oz, he comes across to run workshops in the UK, as well as all over the world, and you can go along and join in, and even speak to him yourself, during his next visit)

I use to be that way and it was because I was not dealing with things in my life the way I should have. It was taking it's toll on me.
