I am an arsenal fan but it seems they are too busy passing the ball they forget the reason for playing the game (GOALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) . and we really need to start scoring the goals if we are to get something from the season and the champs league.

It was daylight robbery but Arsenal have only themselves to blame. They seem to want to walk the ball into the net and often you think they are going to do just that. It is easy to say they need an out and out striker but can you honestly see such a person fit into the Arsenal set up. I couldn't understand bringing on Walcott as a sub when they were down and he really added nothing to the team. They did hit the woodwork a few times but the longer it went on the clearer it became that they could play all day and wouldn't score.

Geez some people cannot answer a question around here.
man City played a good game of defense. When Arsenal did shoot it was usually off target and from distance. Van Persie had some good chances but shot wide once and didn't shoot at all the other time I saw.

Gettin a bit sick of this sh*t to be honest, we cant afford to keep losing against half hearted medicore teams like Man City.
Why don't we bloody shoot, never mind that, i want to know why we are playing garbage like Hoyte at left back, when Flamini has more than proven himself at that position during the champions league.
Oh and #1 chelsea fan, did you actually watch the Arsenal game because if you did, surely you realize that they didn't deserve to lose!

Real simple man. With Henry playing up front and being the main goalscorer, other players are quick to just dish him the ball and expect him to score. And if he doesn't score he needs to set people up. So the whole offense works around him. If the defense shuts him down, good luck finding a goal somewhere else. Hleb sucks. They got rid of Pires, and Reyes is probably out the door soon. They don't look that good this year. They just lost to Man City for God's sake. MAN CITY????

Completely agree, of late arsenal have been trying to over-complicated the passing trying to score a perfect beautiful goal when all they have to do is get in a good position take aim and fire rather than playing the extra pass. Its frustrating to watch they just need someone willing to step up and shoot - Helb, Ljunberg, Toure anyone please!!!!

For some reason the team has it in their head they shouldnt shoot. I have no idea why, but it is so frustrating to watch them pass up good opportunities only pass the ball back to someone else, who wont shoot either.

I just watched the game too. I understand that they have to reload their arsenal but they shouldn't have used velcro on the side of their football shoes.
