Yes, Vlade Divac won. Yugoslavia(now Serbia and Montenegro) won the FIBA World Championship in 2002.

Serbia former YUGOSLAVIA!!
To bad this year Peja and Vlade didn't play. The only NBA player we had was Darko Milicic and Mile Ilic just got drafted this year. However Darko and Igor where the only players confident enough to put up some points. Darko had 3 double doubles (out of six games). In the 08' Olympics we should get top 3 (because Darko and Mile are still young, they need more experience) and in the next FIBA cup we should be able to get 1st .
