What are other resources that the the Mayans used?

The Mayans dug mines, planted large fields of grain and other food, hunted for meats and did just about what any other civilization did to survive. What sets them apart from other cultures is the fact that their calendar is more accurate than atomic clocks and calandars of today by several seconds.

The piggly wiggly grocery store got it's start back then,catering to the needs of the average Mayan woman. just kidding. I think they had the sea to get food from, as well.
