yes u can windows has a built in fax program if u goto start/all program accessories communications and choose fax.

yes, I got free...www.efax.com, but U need a scanner first, and then U can fax! I got a 4 in 1 epson!

Yea, you need a good faxing software and you need to use dial-up modem.
