This is a valid question!
There have been conflicting studies about microwave use during pregnancy, but still none of them really seem to show harm to the baby. Apparently the fetus is particularly sensitive to microwave radiation, the question is how much would be needed to really impact the baby- not the amount you get from using a regular old kitchen microwave.
That said, the second time I got pregnant was after a very early miscarriage and I was ultra paranoid about it happening again so I avoided microwaves during the first trimester. I did use microwaves, I would just walk away during the bulk of the cook time. The pregnancy was perfect, and we have a healthy boy. I am not suggesting that this is because of the microwave deal- I also took very good care of myself! I don't think the microwave caused the mc or anything- 40% of women have miscarriages in the first few weeks, many don't even know they were pregnant and just think they got their period late. However, if it makes you feel better to be extra cautious, by all means, limit the time in front of the microwave.

No, it isn't. Mutation of the baby will occur right after you use the microwave. Your baby will have 17 eyes and 3 legs. Sorry to inform you of this Madam.
Yes, it's perfectly safe to use one.
