my most romantic date was on vacation in athens greece. met a handsome artist the day before at the plaka (market). he had a totally smoldering gaze. we arranged to meet the next day so he could show me his art studio. after we hung out talking for hours and looking at his paintings, he took me to the beach to watch the sunset. there was a charming little restaurant right on the beach (tables set in the sand). after dining we walked down the shore beneath a full pink moon. there was a park with swings and all, so we played and chased each other around. then we sat on a swing for two, and had our first kiss.
he was a gent and dropped me off back at my hotel that night, but the next morning he picked me up and took me down the coast to sunio, where some friends of his family run a little resort. we went to the beach and ate cold peaches in the warm ocean, swimming naked beneath the temple of poisedon.
this was five years ago, we're engaged now and i'm going to move to athens and marry him at christmas.

once on my anniversary my husband &i didn't have a sitter, which dissappointed me. so while i was out he filled our bedroom with 100 helium balloons all with long beautiful ribbons hanging down.chilled some champange, put on soft music,and rose petals on the bed.the next morning all the balloons and ribbons were at different levels(very surreal).I still get chills when i remember that night.
