And as others have said here, if you're after something recorded in the last few years - it isn't true punk.

The Sex Pistols are the so called Godfathers of Punk so start there.
The best punk band is The Clash.
Also try The Ramones, The Pixies, The Damned, Sham 69, Siousie & The Banshees, The Stranglers.
Anything later than that isn't technically PUNK.
