I saw thos documentary other day. In those days US was in cold war with Russia and Russia then claimed that they will soon be landing a ship on moon. Hearing this, US to establish its supremacy on world faked a moon landing. There are many evidence for this.

1) First and foremost the US flag was wavering as if it was on Niegra Falls, on the moon where there is no such thing as atmosphere.

2) The pictures taken. If you see the pictures, the shadows of the object in it are not parallel. It was as if there are multiple source of light whereever this was shot(probably in studio).

3) The clariry of those pictures. According to the technology then it was imposs to take such quality of pics in space.

4) The crater the spaceship will create while landing on moon. Pics reveal no crater.

there are many more evidences but these strike me hard

You are right: the US, a country of then 200 million people, all 9.6 million square kilometer of them, did not land on the moon. It was only a few astronauts that did.

So those pictures are fake, right? How do you know what a real picture of an astronaut on the moon looks like? Have you been there lately, or do you still essentially remain in mental institutions?

Oh, and about these links you quote: they actually belong to a site that explains that the pictures of the moon are genuine. Which you could probably have picked up if you have at least some active brain cells left.

Gee... what a novel question... did you think this up all by yourself? Why I haven't seen this stupid question for nearly a week and you can easily go back and read the way this question was answered the LAST 100 times it was asked this month.

FOR THE RECORD... I was on a tracking ship for the first moon landing and I KNOW FOR A FACT where I had the DISH ANTENNAS AIMED... those signals CAME FROM THE MOON... PERIOD... WE REALLY DID PUT A MAN ON THE MOON... so let this idiotic question REST... I'm tired of the revisionists and the conspiracy nuts and the less-than-technically-competant tweens and teens who don't believe the truth.

There are any number of observatories you can visit and see a laser beam bounced off the mirrors that were placed on the moon during the landings... if those mirrors were not there you couldn't see the laser being bounced back... so JUST HOW DO YOU THINK THEY GOT THERE?

Geesch... I am really tired of this stupid question.

oh you think they're all lying now?

Seriously. How many people would have to shut up for this to work? How many people had to shut up for Watergate, and how fast did they unravel that?

second point. Did you ever triangulate a radio broadcast? Do you know how trivial it is to locate a radio transmitter, and how many people were listening in on the Houston/Apollo transmissions (including the Russians, I should add). Now how do you fake that?

---
Whatever:

1. The flag is rocking back and forth because the flagpole was twisted into the ground by the astronauts. There's no air to wave it, but there's no air to stop the rocking, either.

2. The ground is not flat, it's curved and sloped. I think NASA could have faked sunlight properly.

3. All Apollo mission photographs were taken by a specially modified Hasselblad camera, which uses 6x6cm film (not 3.5 x 2.4 cm, which is the 'common standard') and Carl Zeiss optics. You bet your *** they were sharp.

4. Because of the large engine nozzle (54" across), the generated pressure was only 1.5 pounds per square inch. It was also in space, meaning the pressure spread in all directions.

Debunking these conspiracy theories are time consuming... but the simple fact is that they are all based on a poor understanding on science.

The missions were real! Plain and simple! I was there! As far as why the space shuttle has so many problems, we are talking two different designs! The Saturn 5 rocket that launched these vehicles was very dependable and never lost a payload! As far as the moon trips go, anyone who believes it was fake is as stupid as the too old farts who claimed this! You non believers simply need some courses in astro physics!
P.S. Joseph! You didnt research very far then did you? The Russians were there numerous times too! I think you would have a hard time researching your way outta your skivvys! The deppression was also over long before we went! We were at boon times dummy!

There are objects on the moon currently which people have placed there, like reflectors, which people use to keep track of how far away the moon is from the earth. So they had to have gotten there somehow.

The pictures you speak of are either fakes or were part of the short campaign to get America excited about the moon landing by making TV commericals for it.

You obviously have a very limited education, and you like to let your imagination run away with you. I could give you all the scientific proof that we landed on the Moon that you could ever need, but you are set in your ways and probably wouldn't understand half the stuff I'd be telling you.

So, I'll leave it at this:

We landed on the Moon, get over it.

No. The US did not land to the Moon. We just sent 12 people there for the rest of the country.

The first two were Neil Armstrong and "Buzz" Aldren in 1969.

Yes, At the height of the Apollo project, besides gov employees, there were certainly tens of thousands of Private contractors. From my experience, its hard to get two people to keep a secret. How can you explain this being kept a secret for so long. I'm sure that you may find a few nut cases that claim they work for the program and it was a hoax, but by in large I would say that most people would say it was accurate.

Yes, we've been to the Moon. I've seen those pictures and those websites. Honestly, do you really think our government is competent enough to pull of such a coverup?

If you want websites, go here:

Phil Plait, aka The Bad Astronomer, does a superb job of debunking the folks who think the moon landings were faked. Read his stuff, then we can talk! Don't just take one side of it, after all.
