Any information on middle school elective.....?

My son who just went to 6th grade in N.Carolina has been alloted an elective "career development'. Would this elective subject be useful for him? Can anyone give me information about this elective?

I think my school has a similar elective, and in it, students research career clusters and different jobs that they might like to pursue. They also have guest speakers often and field trips. I hope I helped!!!!!!!!!

its a really good elective we have it in texas and it teaches a whole bunch of things that are good in developing what you want to be when you grow up
