It might be impossible not getting the blue onto your shoes if you wear them with white shoes. Unless you put something under the jeans (just at the bottom in the inside-like sewing material around the bottom inside of your jeans)..but if you don't want to go through all the trouble of sewing something then I would say treat your shoes lightly with a clorox bleach pen just around the area that turned blue and that should work. But be sure to wipe up the clorox after you do it so it doesn't get on any other articles of clothing.

Try coating your shoes with a sealer. Something like Sno-Seal which is a water repellent made from bee's wax This way the dye from your jeans won't have a chance to soak into the leather. This product will also help prolong the life of your shoes too.

Either:
a. Fold them on the bottom, it only bleeds from the outside.
b. dip the jeans in vinegar.
c. rubber bands around your leg so they don't touch the shoes

My granma said if you put a cup of lemon juice in the washing machine with your load it helps. But in my own experience it goes after away if you just wash your jeans a lot.
