What I mean is that there is a hazard that I think should be covered by some type of cover. I have gashed my leg open in this hole, which has a bar sticking 4 inches out of it and has been there since the new building has been built which has been 3 years. I want to know a website where I can find the regulations for safety and that way I can prove to the school that this needs to be taken care of. Any website that states that holes should be either filled or covered would be great thanx in advance!!!

Find a web site for your state's laws. You can usually do this by searching on the state name and "code" or "statutes." If you live in a big city, do the same for city and county codes. Use the search function on whatever site comes up to find the specific laws. This can take a long time, but eventually you'll get there.

You could also contact a local reporter. They're always looking for stories, and public exposure of a problem is a good way to get it fixed. Check your local paper's or TV stations' websites to find a reporter that deals with similar issues, and then contact them with the details.

There are no apparent safety rules for schools since most child molestation is done by teachers.
