I have heard this one too. My grandmother use to say it and I asked my Dr. about it when I was pg with my oldest son, now 15. It is an old wives tale. The only restrictions that you need to worry about are the ones that your Dr. gives you.
There are a lot of old wives tales out there about pregnancy. Don't bend over, don't run, don;t swim. Again only worry about what the Dr. tells you and use common sense and everything will be just fine.

Yes. You can vacuum. Just don't over do it or lug around a heavy vacuum. If you do own one that's heavy, have someone else carry it up/down stairs for you, but you can vacuum just the same. Take breaks if you feel winded...
The only "chore" you CAN NOT do when pregnant (of the normal-type stuff) is change the litter box. Pregnant women should stay well away from kitty litter.

Yes you can vacuum while pregnant, unless you are on bed rest or very near term, there is no reason why you shouldn't. Don't carry the vacuum around, just pull it behind you.
I will add however that while I was pregnant my husband did all the vacuuming. He was very sweet and really did a lot. He wouldn't let me do laundry or vacuum or mop - DAMN - wish I was pregnant again!!! LOL

Of course you can! Unless you are on bed rest you can do anything you would normally do I rearraanged my daughters bedroom and did gardening all the time when I was pregnant! As long as your body is used to doing the activity you are fine

The best person to sak about this is your doctor. If it is early in your pregnancy, and it doesn't strain you to do so - then by all means vaccuum. But if it starts being a strain on you in any way then I would ask your doctor.

Yes,u can.But with care of course.
Just don't over-exert yourself in that chore and risk having a miscarriage.
Be careful..you are not working alone now :)
