I have 2 questions: 1.How will I know when to go to the hospital? I mean like the contractions- how far apart should they be when I decide to go to the hospital? Becuase I know they dont like it when you first start feeling your contractions because sometimes it can be false labor... 2.Is it true that females bleed for 6 weeks after they deliver there baby???

Beleive me you will know when to go to the hospital! When the contractions start in your back and radiate to the front and also it will be a little more painful like period cramps than just a squeezing sensation. when it feels different you are in labor! Go when you want to you can walk around the parking lot to speed things up that is what I did I did not want to be at home when things really got going and then have to drive there. Also yes you will bleed for a while after delivery it is heavy for the first week or two but after that you can pretty much wear a panty liner. with my first I bled for a month with my second child I bled for almost 2 months Good Luck!

When you go into labor the contractions would be 1-3 minutes apart, I just had my baby 4 months ago and first your water breaks and then you feel the contrations and yes they are very painful, And yes after you have your baby you do bleed for 6 weeks until you go back to the doctors for your check-up, it is a pain.

1) Ask your doctor. I lived @ 30 minutes from the hospital I was going to deliver at and was told to leave when the contractions were 15 minutes apart.
2) No. Usually you have a heavier period and it last about the same length of time. Not 6 weeks.

1st) contraction should be 5 to 10 minutes apart. The doctor will tell u that. 2nd) No u don't bleed for six weeks. It's more like 3 to 4 days of bleeding then u go real light and by the sixth day no more but no sex for 6 weeks. Also the doctor will tell u that.

I was induced both my pregnancies, so i dont know what it feels like to go into labor naturally.... but as far as bleeding for 6 weeks. UMMMM NO! ot for me anyways. I would say about 7-10 days. The six week rule is for not having sex. Just to make sure everything has good healing time. BUT... I am a quick healer, so usually about week 3-4, i give ino the animal urges, and let my husband have some. But my husband is a sensative guy, and is very gentle, and if things still feel too sensative, he will stop in an instant

You should go to the hospital when your contractions are 8-10 mins. apart. Unless you live quite a ways from your hospital. And yes some women do bleed for that long, some longer. It all depends on the womans body.

Time your contractions if they increase in intensity and come closer together then it may be true labor. You can monitor your contractions. If they are bad and then get easier and even go away or if your time between contractions get future apart it may be false labor.

As for bleeding, I bled for six weeks both times. I am currently pregnant with baby number three.

for your first question My sis when she was pregnant her water burst before she started feeling anything. But consult with your doctor because everyone's body is different. And your last question it can be true and false. The 6 weeks allows your uterus to shrink back to its normal size which actually it takes 2 years for your uterus to really heal but some people cant wait that long to have another child. but you dont really bleed the whole 6 weeks. You may bleed for 2 weeks and spot for one and so on and so on.
