If you are worried about the pain due to your condition, you can always adopt/have a surrogate mother.

Of course its going to be painful. But you can get some relief. When you are going to give birth they will give you an epideral, if you ask for it. It will numb you from waste down. If you dont choose that there are other oprions, such as getting pain medicine threw your IV which just helps with the pain a little, you will still feel the baby come out but you wont realize how bad it hurt. You will fall asleep after a contraction but when you have a contraction you will wake up. Pregnancy itself isnt much fun (personally) I am due in 7 1/2 weeks and you go threw so many changes, you get sick, you lose your appetite at the beginning, but every female is different. It all varies. But think about pregnancy, and birth, and having a child. Because it is very expensive, think about everything you have to buy and all...But good luck on your choice!

Pregnancy is different for each woman. Some women have easy pregnancies, and easy labors. Others have complicated and difficult pregnancies and hard labor, or surgery to give birth, which is very painful to recover from, and carries certain risks. Most women say their baby was worth every bit of it. Some actually enjoy pregnancy, and want a large family. I myself have 5 children.
Some things I have learned:
A healthy lifestyle makes pregnancy easier. While "junk food" may taste good for a moment, in the long run it causes more health problems and discomfort than it's worth!
Regular exercise will not only help you have an easier pregnancy, it will also help with labor. If your body is in fair to good shape you will have more energy for the work of labor than if you are weaker.
During labor, staying upright and moving around helps labor progress better. It gets gravity working for you! Lying down makes your body fight against gravity, and have a harder time.
These are just some things I have learned during the course of my pregnancies and labors!

Yes pregnancy is uncomfortable...yes it is a pain in the butt ( litterally) and LABOR....not sooo much fun, but it is true when they say it is all worth it. My first pregnancy i had an epiderel, and i told everyone that was the way to go, didnt feel a thing, but a year later when number 2 showed up, they were too late to give me the epiderel, and i had to do it with out anything ( but laughing gas) and now i am due again here in decmeber, andi hope i can go naturally again, with out an epiderel. What an amazing experience to go thru. Both my sisters has c-sections, and they are envious of me, because they missed the best part. I swore up a blue streak let me tell you, but for the third time , call me crazy, i am so excited to deliver. (even though i have hated almost everyminute of this pregnancy!)
call it a woman thing if you will, but it is our nature, to make those sacrifices. And when that baby first smiles, first giggles...OMG, the 40 weeks of sacrifice was sooo worth it!!!! That child is a part of you, and it will melt your soul....they are precious!!!

I have Fibromyalgia and found that my symptoms were the same during my pregnancy but because I was pregnant I had to find a lot of alternative was to deal with my pain. I spent a lot more time sleeping that's for sure.
I spent a lot of time resting up for labor because I didn't want a c section but I had to make sure I had the strength for labor. I did everything I was supposed to according to my dr and only had a nin hour labor with my first child
email me if you want more info about pregnancy and fibromyalgia

I don't know what fibromyalgia is but I just gave birth two weeks ago today and the pain is only temporary just like anything else. It was bearable to me, it was painful but it wasn't like getting set on fire or something. You just can feel your bones and ligaments separating so it does hurt. But looking at this pretty baby girl of mines next to me in her bassinet, I must say it was well worth it. I used to be so depressed before, but these past two weeks, I've been so happy. She's my reason to live now.

Pregnancy wasn't painful for me. It was labor with my first child when I waited as long as I could for the epidural. I highly recommend getting that as soon as possible. I don't know how fibromyalgia would affect the pain of pregnancy.

First of all every pregnancy is different... but over all there are alot of discomforts in being pregnant... most of which you just adapt knowing its only for a few months. (by adapt that includes getting help from the doctor) labor itself is very painful... but once you see that baby.... you know you would do it all over again and again and again just for that little bundle. (but thankfully you cant lol)

It is your decision whether or not you want to go through the discomfort of pregnancy and delivery, adoption is just as good a way to have a child.
If you are really worried about the pain of delivery, have an epidural!!
