Going out is always a nice occasion, the feeling of being pretty make you special. As do the clothes.I tend to wear fairly heavy make-up also especially eye-liner & lipstick etc.Probably the fear of meeting up with other women and being under dressed (cosmetically) tempts us to go that extra bit further.
Although i also when my ex-partner asked me used to apply heavy make-up just for him even when just staying at home as he liked that kind of thing. Not all girls are the same.Have you tried asking her to wear it heavy for you?try asking.
Bye

talk to her. tell her that even though u no that its her desicion, that u think think she is naturally beautiful. also make sure that u dont start yelling at her to not wear makeup. and remember that she is a woman and women like makeup in general. a small talk may not do too too much! hope it works out for u!

I only wear a bit of lip gloss and the majority of guys have said that they much prefer that more natural look. I don't need heavy make up - I have nothing to hide!!!!

It's a confidence thing. I always put a touch of make-up on before I leave the house even if it's unnoticeable just to feel more comfortable.

I do exactly that. It is because society make us be that way. I feel bad if I am out without make up and other girls/women have it on. It makes me feel inferior. I know it is stupid but it does.
So don't you worry nice man, it doesn't mean she love you less because she doesn't wear make up at home, we really use make up for other women.

She's worried about the spiteful looks from other women.
Make up is rarely to attract a man, but rather to show to other women that she looks after herself.
Women are real B!tches when it comes down to it, and judge each other on their appearances.

during the day you should wear light makeup - heavier makeup should be reserved for special occasions - and worn at night. Makeup should be worn to highlight assets, not to create what we are not

Makeup isn't for the guys...it's to keep other women from saying "gosh, isnt she looking tired" or "wow, she's 41 and still has acne!"
