i liked john maddden and al michaels way better than the espn commentators.

I also like John Maddden on there more than the guys ESPN have. But I guess we all should give ESPN a chance before we decide which one we like best.

John Madden is senile and ESPN airs MNF an hour earlier and you won't be until 12 or 1 AM watching the end of a game. But sunday football night will be good.

I know what you mean. I still can't believe ABC and the NFL decided to go their separate ways after 35 successful years. I was so used to and comfortable with Michaels and Madden as the commentators as opposed to the ESPN guys.

John Madden was hilarious. He sounded so drunk at times, making the game even more interesting! The ESPN commentators suck. They're boring.

john madden is a blubbering idiot, that ruins the flow of the game with his pointless, child like views. about time i can sit and relax and watch monday night after hard days work and not have the tv on mute. hoo rah espn

Flip a coin. Madden and Theisman both suck.
Madden sometimes sounded like he was watching a different game. Theisman thinks too much of himself. Maybe he should start drinking on air like Madden.

ABC>ESPN. Just the way they pumped you up for their MNF was better (IDK, maybe they'll make it better once regular season games start). I wish they would have just made MNF on NBC, (honestly, does it cost the network more to be on monday night?).
And ESPN not being cable is dumb, they are loosing many potential viewers that way.

heck yeah!
that tony kornheiser guy is simply annoying. great on PTI, lousy on MNF.
they should just stick with 2 guys in the booth. with 3 they tend to talk over each other.
