no im not racist.....but i will throw a fit if my daughter or son marries a lazy a$$, beer dinking thug who thinks that welfare and food stamps are the way to go.

I am so sorry for you! You are not a pure race what ever you are. You are mixed with all kinds of people too! There is so much ignorance in the world today. My husband is oriental , my kids are amerasians, what a wonderful thing to be a unique race of people. They aren't on any catagorie as listed, white black, hispanic.....They always have to pick the box marked "other"
That is how ignorant we are as a whole, People still have to check a box for what they are and there aren't even enough boxes for the mixes of people in the world today! We are people, human beings, You can marry, love, like anyone you choose. Life is just too short for all of the petty things to complain about. You should just concider yourself lucky to find true love no matter where it comes from, no matter who it comes from. I am so serious about life being too short, people think they are immortal, that they will live for ever, yet it can be over before you know it, so live life to the fullest and enjoy every single moment. Love whom ever you want and be happy. If we could all just accept the fact that we are all just people the world would be such a better place. I don't hate you for being so ignorant or closeminded, I don't hate you , I pitty you, I am sorry that your children will probably live as you and share your views as they will live as they have been taught by example. I am so sorry for that! The only way to ever end all of the ignorance is steralization of people like you! It is such a shame that we will never get along.

The funny thing is that after your heart attack your cardiologist will probably be someone from india, or the life saving blood transfusion will probably come from a black person, and you probably go to eat chinese food at a chinese resteraunt, what happens to you when you are old in a nursing home and totally dependant upon others for care, and your nursing staff are all arabs or your nursing aids are all black, will it matter then? Forgive my ignorance as spell check was down, but what was your excuse? dougther?

no, Im not racist, and yes I would not only let them marry someone of a different race, Id be happy. Not because they found someone of a different race, but because they found someone they love, care about, and want to spend the rest of their life with. People really need to get over themselves.
you know whats really interesting? people FOR gay rights, that say love is love, then go around and get angry about interacial marriage. If love is love, the why should it matter.
my mom would be mad at me if I married someone of a different race, but shed get over it because thats a kind of intolerance I just cant stand. Thats one of the reason Ive lost alot of respect for my mom. I cant believe she would be so closed minded. People are so full of themselves!

I'm not a racist. I don't care who my child marries, but my limit is as long as he or she accept Jesus Christ as their savior. So I don't care if they marry an Asian, Arab, Jew, White, Black, Spanish, Indian, etc. as long as they have Christ in their life. At the same time I wont stop loving or supporting my child because they marry someone in a different religion.

I'm of mixed decent, I would love to marrying someone of another race. I don't have kids though, but if I did and they wanted to marry someone of another race I sure won't be upset about that. It's a personal decision.

Why are so many people judged by their race? I am white Australian, & in my extended family their are people of Aboriginal, German, Spanish & Hungarian origins. It's the character or personality that matters. Not their colour or creed. There is no need for racism of any kind.
