I see the way you stare at me.
I can see right through you.
I see the way you hate me
because I break the "rules."
I lay down with man
While you lay down with woman.
I see the way you make fun of me.
I can see you laugh.
I see the way you hate me
Because I'm gay.
You hate me, because I'm not like you.
You hate me, because I'm different.
I may be different, but it doesn't make me love any different.
I put one shoe on at a time, just like you.
I see the way you stare at me.
I can see right through you.
I see the way you love me
God, how come they can't be just like you?

This work reveals a lot of issues the the writer is attempting to address. The literary level of this piece is unremarkable. The emotions described indicate that perhaps the writer need to have some counseling.

Wow I know exactly where you're coming from......... I can relate so well. I mean in a place like country *** GA where everything is judged. From interracial dating to same sex couples.... It makes it so hard to come out or to be different in a society or in my case where everything seems to be uniform. Its so annoying! But I agree why can't everyone be like God? I mean after all we were made in his image. I dunno but GREAT POEMS.

Oh, who wrote these, these are pretty! I have one I wrote, called "My Abomination" It's really good, so I've been told. Email me if you want to read it. I was really mad when I wrote it because somebody at my job had spit in my face that morning.
