Seriously, how old is he, is he infant? Is he old enough to have an opinion? If he is infant, how about neutral for now, then when he gets old enough, let him decide.

For any child, of any sex, use calming colors and surroundings. Don't clutter it up, and try to avoid unnecessary stimulation. A baby's room needs to be restful and peaceful.
