It's a federal law that pregnancy can NOT be considered a pre-existing condition. There are a few loopholes, but they're very obscure. Once you're married, you can be on his insurance. Just make sure his employer's insurance policy offers maternity and well-baby coverage.
You can do some research on this. This pre-existing condition rule is part of HIPAA. (Sorry, I would look it up for you and post the link, but I hear my 2 1/2 year old waking up from his nap!)

Depends on the policy. Get added to it NOW and read the fine print later. Most policies have a 6 month delay for pregnancy coverage. At least the delivery is covered that way and that is the major cost.
Start your vitamins - folic acid etc. Pre natals are vital to you and the baby's health.

It depends on his insurance company.
We have Cigna and they don't cover maternity. My daughter is covered on our plan, but they turned down all claims for the pregnancy.
We had to get her on Medicaid. We qualified and my husband makes $38,000 annually. ($3167/monthly, $732/weekly). We have 4 people in our household total.
Pregnancy Medicaid uses a different income limit than does the program for children. Try applying for Pregnancy medicaid now and don't worry about the insurance until the baby is born. And, if you qualify for Medicaid, you will qualify for WIC.

I would consider checking with your boyfriend's insurance company first. Usually this is pre-existing but it never hurts to find out.

Dun think or worried too much... just called up your bf or ur own insurance agent and ask them directly. Tat's what your agent is being paid for! He / she is the best person to know his policy content and the right person to advise accordingly :)
