The Law is normally a written set of instructions which is mandatory for each citizen of that country to abide and to use in case of personal liberty or crisis. The fundamental function of the Law is to regulate the actions and provide justice to all people without due favoritism or prejudice. It gained by enforcement via fines or harsh punishment. The Law is crucial for each society as it is just and supreme.

law is a basic set of social guidelines implemented in order to maintain some sort of control and peace. most people, abide by the law with no qualms, others, just need that rush or that free meal in jail. those who enforce the law are ones that "control" the general masses and keep them within the pre-approved guidelines.

It's a form of social control, without rules there would be chaos.
The law accomplishes its mission by settting up and enforcing penalties.
