How is clairvoyance any different from intuition?

Intuition is usually the immediate "feeling" of a given situation--something you are involved in in the now.

Clairvoyance is a natural talent or development of spirit sense that allows you to "see" not just the immediate, but also farther ahead.

"Evolving" is simply a matter of useage & focus...intuition being the easiest, since we all possess such on one level or another...it's your "gut" feeling...your first idea or thought...your spirit voice....this takes trust & a listening quality. The ability to "see" is more of a birth right for most...often geneticly passed down, but can be developed by some with serious effort & great teachers.

intuition is more like a gut instinct and clairvoyance is seeing the future. There are lots more intuitives than clairvoyants. Also with intuition the intuitive person has to know the details of a situation to be able to tell someone what is going on with it. But with clairvoyance the person will just have visions even without prior knowledge of anything.

Some people are born with clairvoyance ability, which can be dangerous if they dont know how to use and controll it.
Most people have intuition and then some develope their intuition and often become clairvoyant. How high it is evolved depends on what we use it for. If you use it to help others, it is high evolved, but if we use it to help ourself at the expence of others then it is wrong. Spiritual law says that we are NOT allowed to sell our gifts, we are only allowed to charge for our time we spend helping others if we do it fulltime, and not more then a job would pay us.

Some people think of clairvoyance as being a visual type of precognition. Others define it as the ability to see spirits.

Intuition is often based on things known. We pick up so much information without realizing we are doing so and often that is why we can come up with answers we didn't know we knew.:)

So yes, I would say they are different and no to one being more evolved than the other.

Intuition is simply trusting one's own instincts.

Intuition is far more credible than clairvoyance and I'd put my faith in intuition rather than clairvoyance, any old day.

Intuition is that part of you that is open to the many energies on the ethers that tell you something is about to happen...like a funny feeling in the stomach.

Clairvoyance (clear seeing) can be sought as a psychic and/or mediumship talent, skill or ability. Genericly it is used to describe the individual as someone who sees spirit, but can also apply to individuals who have other senses of spirit.

The price tag. Nobody will pay anyone just for being intuitive, but "clairvoyants" and their ilk can command impressive fees from the gullible.

I think the two are related. Clairvoyance is being in touch with the "other side" or the "dead" for information. I think that intuition taps into that "universal knowledge" that is available in the other realm, whether it's your subconsious communicating with that realm or, perhaps, spirits trying to guide or warn you.

intuition is more "gut" instinct. clairvoyance is sight beyond sight really. intuition is more genuine while clairvoyance is shoddy at best.
