After his NYC, hole comment I think so. No wonder his city was destroyed as he did nothing and cried.

During the 60 Minutes interview, a correspondent pointed out flood-damaged cars still on the streets of New Orleans' devastated Ninth Ward. Nagin replied, "You guys in New York can't get a hole in the ground fixed, and it's five years later. So let's be fair," according to CBS.

Yeah, Nagin shoots right from the hip. He should take a breath before he talks and maybe have a PR person right next to him. Some may argue that his direct approach is a good thing, but not me. Since the mayor represents their city, he owes it to the people of the city to not look like a schmuck.
However, he is not an idiot at all. His points are important but often lost in his poor choice of words. For example, Katrina flooded 80% of New Orleans and this type of devastation takes years to repair. Anyone who thinks otherwise is the idiot. His comparison to the WTC site is more relevant than some would like to think because it has been five years since 9/11 and there isn't even a resolution on what will be built on the site. Why??? People cannot agree on what has to happen and how something will look and how those decisions affect the area's future. Imagine those challenges for the WTC site and now multiply them by 100 or 1000. New Orleans has over 70 neighborhoods, all affected by Katrina.
Any mayor who had their entire city flooded would have these same challenges. My opinion is that Nagin has been more of a leader than any other political figures that have been involved, including Gov. Blanco, anyone in FEMA or COE, and especially the man who is currently our president.
I live in New Orleans and I see the progress the city is making and I also see where more progress is needed. I dare anyone to come down here and try to do a better job.

I thought he was after his Chocolate City comment. His comment about New York was not as bad. In fact, I think it took a little more thought and a lot more guts. He basically did one of two things. He shut up those who were criticizing the city and showed he had more guts then he had earlier.
If you are talking about crying, it was not Nagin but Aaron Brousard who was on national television crying. Nagin was working hard for the city. I believe Nagin did his best as the city was destroyed. You can not stop Mother Nature from destroying the infra structure of an area. You can only do your best to prevent it from being too bad.

I think he's more than that; he's probably a generic being - robot/imposter. See Human or Robot? at http://www.geocities.com/ulafrique/nanotechnology.html
In fairness, just imagine what would have happened if Nagin had been a White American! In my "Human or Robot?", I declare that the race card has no place in the actions of these imposters. They are just out to take on and out any true human with any level of commonsense, regardless of race.

At the very least, he is insensitive. Since Hurricane Katrina I've often wondered if he opens his mouth without engaging his brain first. To fend off a question he doesn't want to answer with a comment about it being 5 years since 9/11 is childish, at best. I can hear my 9 year old grandson tattling when I hear comments like that.

I think many US mayors would be in Nagin's predicament if a disaster on the scale of Katrina hit their city.
9/11 was devised by humans. Katrina was devised by nature.
I wonder why we've had few hurricanes this year? Maybe the Zionists figured out the weather?

He just have a fast mouth, slow brain. Reporters when interviewing him should remind him to 'slow down his mouth and speak when his brain catches up'.

When folks weight on others to do everything for them. One gets the idea they must think they are kings and everyone must weight on them.
