A degree in Media studies and english, a enquiring mind. Being good at working things out. Being sensetive but harsh, know what info you need and make sure you get it! Have you seen Fletch? Its a film, he is an good example using his resorces to dig deep for information. Its all about standing up for what you believe in and sticking to dessions no matter what. Its about finding the truth and reveling it to the public. Whatever it takes. So think your up for it? Then don't EVER give up! And good luck to you!

Good writing skills and tons of experience. Start now! Even start at the free newspapers, just get your work and your name out there.
And networking and schmoozing always help.
