A crystal ball can be very useful as a point of focus to concentrate your thoughts and keep them from rambling too much.
You can however, accomplish the same thing by looking at the flame on a candle.

Well what a question. I happen to have one. And I have it on my altar. A crystal ball is for you to meditate in to see what lays or may lay ahead. It is another form of scrying. I have never used either since I am not far enough into my studies. I think that for them to be truly useful you need to learn how to use your senses. All of them, and of course learn to meditate.
But on a funny note. My grandmother told me of this.
On the East Coast there was supposed to be a phycic that had a crystal ball. Being phycic you would think he could see the future right. Well he wasn't phycic enough to know that if he had his crystal ball sitting in front of the window that it would catch his house on fire.

I wouldn't do anything with it b/c I wouldn't have one. When I need help, answers, etc., I turn to the only One who can give them to me, and it's not some psychic or crystal ball.

What I would do with it now would be nothing. What I used to do with it, that is a different story. Thank goodness that thing is not in the house anymore. :)
