If Melo can keep that percentage up, he very well may take Kobes title as Most Clutch, but Kobe has been doing this since Melo was in middle school. Kobe has game winning shots in the Conference Finals and the NBA Finals. Shots he made under the most stressful conditions. A bunch of regular season game winners don't compare to even one of Kobe's Finals game winners.

Nope, Melo is a very clutch player but if I were the coach with the game on the line I'd still give Kobe the ball to score. As people said before Kobe has really noone on his team, so the shots he has to take are tougher as defenses usually know he'll be the player with the ball. Also, Kobe's clutch shots have been of bigger impact, such as durin the playoffs and everyone still remembers the shot against Phoenix in game 4. However, as Carmelo is still gettin better, he mite one day in the future be a better clutch player than Kobe.

Advice, when you know the answer to your question don't ask it. My opinion is not to compare the first three of a player against three years of someone who has been playing for almost ten, then isn't Melo team better than Kobe for the span? and you need to make sure when comparing pecentage that the numbers are close, Kobe took twice as much shots as melo, anyway I don't like Kobe but I haven't seen enough in melo to even put him in the same sentence as Kobe for now so .............

Sorry, 'Melo doesn't get the clutch title until he goes well past the first round of the playoffs. You've got to do it in the finals before you get the clutch title - Jordan, Bird, Kareem, Magic, Kobe, Horry, Jerry West, Isiah Thomas, they all did it in the finals. Even Shaq is more clutch than 'Melo, cause when it matters, he hits those free throws. Carmello may have hit game winners, but to be truly clutch, you got to hit series winners, and championship winners. Reggie Miller makes the list for the number of series winners he made. 'Melo has a long way to go.

Points scored is not the only criteria a player should be judged by. Passing, assists, rebounds, and even tho not in the rule books, a players attitude should also be used. Last year when Phoenix beat Dallas, the whole team (Dirk N espeically), the coach, AND the fans, lowered themselves by not shaking hands, throwing chairs (Dirk) and being in general poor sports. This was one of THE worst displays of sportsmanship I have ever seen-Kobe would fail in this area while CA would skyrocket!Kobe's chest beating once the game was over was a smartassed display. AND How can ANYONE not like Shaq?

Exactly were did you get these details, anyone with a normal brain will known that kobe has been in the nba way longer than Carmelo, so that makes him the more experinced one and that should answer your question.

i'm not a kobe fan but i think its still kobe!, melo has alot of things to prove!he's neen in the league for only 3 years, while kobe is already been tested to deliver big shots in very important crucial games.
