Okay I'm an AAR fanatic!And AAR is coming to my town in november on a tour with the starting line.Two of my favorite bands! I love them both! I have to! have to go! cuz i didnt get to go to their fob,hh,fftl,aar tour!Which everyone at my school did cause i had to babysit! but yeah! i need help convincing my mom,she thinks concerts are like bad!She doesnt let me go to the mall by myself either, she thinks anywhere out of our house is bad!uhhh she thinks i'm still little! I mean i'm 14, i'm growing up! i need help! i can't miss this concert.I mean i LOVE AAR soo much its not even funny! words can't describe!help please.thx

I have been to an MCR concert.That's because i told my mom i was sleeping over at my friends house,she didn't find out though.But i dont wanna do that. It was too much work to pull it off.And i dont like hiding things from my mom.

You snuck out to go to an MCR concert!? LOL! great!!! LOL! but nope i don't like to ever hide anything from my mom either. so sneaking out to this concert wouldn't be a good idea. and you know i want you to go but here is my advice. just ask her nicely (not argumentatively) but yeah just ask her if you can go.. explain nicely to her that you have wanted to go to a concert and since this one is coming up and it is your like fav band ever and your future hubby is there can you go.. and since she doesn't know you wen to that mcr one just don't bring it up lol cuz then that would totally ruin aar concert for you but just explain nicelt that you wanted to go to that AAR,FFTL,HH,FOB tour but you didn't go.. just tell her how much it means to you and that if she is worried about it being unsafe for whatever the reason just say if you want you can even join me at the concert to assure my safety.... i just really want to go... and if she doesn't wanna go with you just be like you can be my ride there and back if that makes you know i am safe too and i will go with a friend (how about a trusted friend your mom knows and trusts most) i really hope you get to go and if you do tell moi and brign the camera and send those pics!!!! AHHH!! even offer to pay for everything yourself... clean the house or whatever just anything for her to let you go... i really hope you can go!! and try and meet Tyson and Nick if you do go LOL! OMG I HOPE YOU GO!! I know i would luv to go!!!! AHHH!!!

Ummmm you're a little too young to me and I would ask Tyson to help ya since AAR has millions of fans that aren't able to go to concerts most of the time, but he doesn't really check his e-mail very often. Maybe you could make your mom love em and take her with you, just as long as you don't talk about how hot they are and how you're deeply in love with Nick. Oh yeah and tell your mom that you only love their music now cuz anyone Nick does have a girlfriend. I hope this works out for ya.

Heylo, well, you should try to convince your mom that if you would do something for her (say, chores, or something) that she would then, in return, let you go to the concert. Also, you should tell her that if she thinks that you're responsible and old enough to babysit, then she should let you go out by yourself, because in my opinion, taking care of children requires a lot more responsibility. Hmm ... and try playing AAR for her and maybe she will end up liking them ... Who knows? Play "Move Along" or something and try to convince her that they sing about motivational topics or w/e. Anyways, good luck! And don't sneak out unless you're seriously desperate ... It would only make her trust you less and become more adamant in her not letting you go out.

Some moms (and dads, too) are overly protective, especially of their daughters. At 14, I think you're old enough to go to the mall by yourself or with a group of friends but she must be worried about your safety (with so many nutcases out there). If you haven't given her any reason to mistrust you, then maybe you can negotiate with her.
Can you go with friends she likes/trusts? If you have a cell phone, tell her you'll keep in touch with her. Does she know how to text? I taught myself so I could keep in touch w/my 15 yr old daughter. It's a good, non-intrusive way to check in with her.
Try to realize that she only has your best interests at heart (I know it's hard!). Do you have an older sibling who could go with you?

OMG I hate you!!! A.A.R. is my favorite band everrr too but the closet they are comming to me in 4 hours away & so my mom obviously said no!!! My guy friend & I wanted to go really bad .. we're so depressed.
But maybe if you find a friend or [even better!] relative who likes A.A.R. & M.C.S. whose mom or dad would take you, she'd let you go. Try finding some A.A.R. concert pics online w. fans in them & show her how many kids & teens attend the concerts & how there's never anything in the news about bad stuff happening to people at them. It might also help to clean & do chores & stuff [lameee] w.o her asking you & be a total angel until tickets go onsale [unless you're in the fan club presale thing, then like hurry!!!]. Good luck & I hope you get to go .. I sooo wish I could =[.

go with you...you must have an older cousin..aunt..sister...
