I lost all my friends and family at home because I told everyone's business, and then I most of my friends at my college and college area because I told everyone's business to everyone (basically ppl just talk to me in general ex: buying something, weather, sports, non personal stuff).

I just got out of a fight two days ago because of me telling my friend's business, lost my girlfriend because she said I was rude, an a$$, nempho, told everyone all her personal business, everything. She said i just need a 16 year old city, ghetto girl, except for a 20 year old grown woman. I'm 20 years old right now, and everything is falling apart. I tried everything from isolating myself (which makes me tell ppl's business on phone/internet), to being the silent one in the group (that does work period, because im the comedian of the group)

Anyone went through this b4, or have any help?

Lets just say it got so bad, that my family doesnt tell me where they are going the next day, cant eat with them..

I'm not talking about me listening, lets just say like this:

I see my friend sitting outside, ill just go up to him, and start tell him my girlfriend's business, like what we did last nite or sumthing....

listening is not a problem, because if i couldnt listen, then i wouldnt be telling other ppl's business...

I hear the words "Shut the (F) up", they come to mind when I think of someone like you.

Here's the only tip you need. Stop talking & start listening, do not ever repeat what you hear.

If you want to make friends, become a great listener, then never, ever repeat what they tell you. Most people tell you a little info. just to test you.

No one wants a blabber mouth, people who can't shut up usually get it shut for them. If you are not a Delta Force guy, expect to get you booty kicked or even killed for repeating what you hear.

Think of it this way, If someone found a million dollars and told you they would give you 1/2 and all you had to do is "Shut the (F-up). Could you?

Mostlikely, you would tell, and loose it all. Become more humble and people will respect you more.

"The best kept secret between three people is when two of them are dead.

Try just shutting the FÜCK up... and grow up a bit. Not every thought that pops into your mind is worth tell to someone. Not being trustworthy can ruin your life even worse than it already has. It's a sign of immaturity, for one thing and people will never trust you in a relationship because of your childish behavior. At 20 years old, you are too old to act like you do.

Whoa, dude, you're bad! Here's my serious suggestion. Go on a meditation retreat. They have these yoga meditation camps where you can not talk the entire time you're there. You can choose however many days to go for 7 days, 10 days, whatever. While you're there you just meditate and enjoy the natural surroundings of the camp. I've never been but people who have say that it's very cleansing and it helps them realize a lot about themselves.

listen more than you speak....really listen...not just the smiling in your face...hmmmh - I mean engaged listening - it shows your interested in what the person has to say - it makes you look like the best person in the world - the truth is everytime you open your mouth, you might say the wrong thing - that never happens when you keep you mouth closed and your ears open.

I think you need to work on your self-esteem. Read a book on self-esteem to find out why you feel you have to live this way. Find another way to get attention. Take an Interpersonal Speech course. Learn to listen, and to respect others.

Consider getting professional help. A psychologist or clergy may be helpful to you at this time. Good luck.

you can grow up and stop being a back stabbing, 2 face person.
whats your problem...why would you go and tell other ppl's business for?
remember, what goes around comes around...but, it comes around three times worse...don't forget it.
