i think its a simple case of getting involved with the wrong person...some people can emotional drain you and change your self image of yourself causing you to not strive to be the best any longer...almost like brainwashing. i think kevin has made her feel so crummy with his sleazy life that she doesn't have the energy to rise above. i think her life would look up and improve if she ditched the cling-on and got over him. she just seems depressed, and i think its his fault.
