He had a few songs out after he left the band Journey, and now you just never hear anything about him. What's up with that?

After the “Trial By Fire” tour that never happened Steve seem to drop out of sight and nothing was heard from him until February of this year when VH-1 aired ‘Behind The Music, The Journey Story.’ It was Steve’s first appearance in many years and all of his fans were happy to see Steve looking healthy with a new short haircut but BTM opened up many cans of worms and the spillage is still continuing. After numerous airings of BTM there were more questions than answers.
Recently, as of September 13 or 14th of this year Steve was spotted at the Melissa Etheridge Concert and you can see the picture on this website.
On BTM Steve stated that he ‘thinks about touring and performing everyday’ and we hope that is true. Steve we are waiting for you, ‘Faithfully.’

Journey reunited in 1996 to record a new CD—"Trial By Fire." While preparing for the subsequent tour, Steve injured his hip hiking in Hawaii. Steve wanted to consider all healing possibilities before having hip surgery, but the other members of Journey were anxious to move on tour in support of the album. Once again, Journey and Steve departed company.
In 1998, Steve Perry's "Greatest Hits + Five Unreleased" was released. Journey regrouped with a new vocalist, Steve Augeri, and is now on tour promoting their album, "Arrival." Fans are hoping for a new solo project by Steve Perry, who has totally recuperated from hip surgery.

Steve Perry is actually 5'7" size 7 shoe seems accurate.
165 lbs. seems a little light. prob. around 180.

He's alive and still making music, just not with Journey anymore.

HE'S MADE HIS MONEY NOW HE'S ENJOYING IT.I REALLY LOVED HIM BACK IN THE 80'S.
