No. As far as I know it is not harmful to lick your own blood from a cut or scratch. Some holistic practitioners whould even say that it is a "healing" way to approach a small wound. Best bet in all situations: Stop the bleeding. Wash the wound with cold water and soap. Dry it off well and cover with a clean dressing or bandage.Keep it dry and clean until it is healed.
There are diseases that can be transmitted through the blood such as HIV and AIDS, so NEVER DRINK ANOTHER PERSONS BLOOD!
In the case of a poisonous bite, such as a snake bite, where venom has been injected into the flesh. In that case the poison is sucked out with the blood and spit out so as not to toxify ones self further. (There are snake bite kits that provide a little suction cup to do this).

It's not the blood that will harm you, it's the potential for infection because the normal human mouth is full of bacteria that could cause problems when a cut is exposed to them.

no. I once drank about a cup full of my own blood when I had an injury to my mouth. It tasted nice, kinda salty.

Yes it most definitely is. If there are harmful toxins in your bloodstream they will end up in your body. Do you really want that?

Yes i think so as there are millions of bacteria living in your mouth and they could be transferred into the cut.

and the enzymes in your spit will help the wound to heal faster
