Ben Hur was made for times.
Pride and Prejudice has been remade five or six times
Almost everything Shakespear has been remade time and time again.
An Affair to Remember has several reincarnations.
The list goes on and on.

Sleepless in Seattle could also be considered another remake in this series of remakes. A lot of movies actually make a modern version of a classic film or book...technically a remake, but very different from the original.
Two examples are:
Clueless - based on Jane Austen's "Emma" (several Emma movies have been released)
Cruel Intentions - based on the Choderlos de Laclos novel "Liaisons dangereuses, Les" (several Dangerous Liaison movies have been released)

approximately remaking a remake: - you are going to be able to make a remake of the unique action picture, ignoring the others remakes - so it somewhat is in elementary terms a remake. remake a action picture thats already been made: - remaking a action picture already made, particular ... this could be a rule in Hollywood. yet i think of you may incorporate something new on it, like the way it became with the replace from 2nd to 3-D or different large-large-impressive effects or something like it ...

The Shop Around the Corner (Jimmy Stewart)
was remade into the Good Old Summertime (a late 1940's musical)
and then into You've Got Mail (Meg Ryan & Tom Hanks)
I think the original was the best.
It was also based on a Hungarian novel.

A Star Is Born...
1st it was some other name in the early 30s
then A Star is Born in 1937 with Janet Gaynor,
then again in the 50s with Judy Garland and then in the 70 with Barbra Streisand
Also Dreamgirls, Sparkle, Glitter... all kinda the same

That wouldn't really be possible. The second remake would just be another remake of the original...

Well, the off the subject slightly, "The Producers" was a film, that was remade into a stage show, and then remade again into a film.
