dawn, hot water, vinegar, clean terry cloth. I used to use newspapers way back before they started using soy ink for printing but be'cuz soy ink is a oil base I found it streaked. That is why I recommend either paper towel or terry cloth ( note: do not use dryer sheets on window cleaning cloth in the drying cycle as it will also streak) and.....you probably already know this but....don't wash windows in direct sunlight, unless you want to do very small sections at a time, dries too darn fast and you can't keep up with it. Happy washing. teehee.

Vinegar works great. I worked at Mcdonalds for years, and that's all they used was vinegar on a paper towel. Use crumpled newspaper to get rid of streaks too. God Bless

I use an ammonia and water solution.
Mix 1 part ammonia to 3 parts water.

I've also used straight white vinegar. It stinks to high heaven, but works great.
