It's doubtful. Any alien race that is advanced enough to travel the stars and come to this world would be more interested in being friends with humans rather than destroy them... but they would also have advanced weapons we haven't dreamed of.. so it would not be a fair contest... ALIENS 200 Million... Humans Zero

I'd love to see Hollywood take on a ground war vs. aliens that actually wanted to keep our planet.

Ever see Star Wars? Those wimp-*** storm troopers wouldn't last ten seconds against a modern 21st century special forces squad.

Block THIS Skywalker! (budda budda budda, hand grenade.)

But no, we'd probably loose. Look at the first Gulf War. The US came in with technological superiority and an achievable goal and the 'war' lasted about 24 hours. And that is a technology difference of about twenty or thirty years. Imagine a force centuries ahead of us. Ouch.

Humanity can't even live without war amongst themselves, this is so sad. I don't think we would stand a chance.

If earth was invaded this would mean that the intelligence is far superior to ours, we have not even landed on or explored our own little section of a very vast universe. I would be hopeful that if earth was invaded it would be to show us how to bring peace here, how to resolve world hunger, how to set up an ungreedy government to rule instead of someone who only cares for numero uno. We live in a world that is spiraling out of control, we no longer can trust who we put in charge.

We are so self absorbed alien beings may already have been here and are now working behind the scene. Know who your neighbors are?

War is not necessary for an Alien species to conquor Earth. Over the centuries, your planet was a curious place to visit once or twice and was not considered very interesting . Sure, your wars showed us how undeveloped you are as a species and your infantile,(in cosmic terms) dependence on god concepts does not bode well for you. We are now showing an interest in you because it is not often that we get to observe a species commit suicide. You are so close to maturing as a sentient species and it will be a shame to see you kill yourselves. There are just not enough of you becoming rational enough to force the issue. You let the least among you determine your fate, so be it.

Doubtful. Being able to travel between the stars requires harnessing powers and understanding aspects of the universe we don't even have a clue about. Any intelligence capable of interstellar travel will be orders of magnitude more advanced then us. Perhaps (and this is a big perhaps) if the aliens wanted to occupy Earth without exterminating us, some might have a tiny chance to survive in an underound resistance sort of way, but if they just wanted to wipe us out, we'd have no chance.

The zombie woul be out indoors the 1st around, through fact they are thoroughly uncoordinated, an lack the flexibility to reason. Assuming the attempt against is on land, the pirate woul probably be next through fact he's out of his ingredient. Then the cowboy, through fact he lacks the technologies of the robotic and the alien, an the fast precise combating skills of the ninja. The ninja will bypass next for an comparable reason making use of certainty the cowboy; loss of technologies. Then it fairly is going to come back suited right down to the robotic and the alien; annoying to declare, at this ingredient. yet my funds is on the alien.

No way. The liberal Democrats would want to make nice with the alien butchers and criticize everything our military and civilian leaders do.
