If they are no threat to us why should we care?

It's not about violating UN resolutions. That's like asking if someone is armed and dangerous based on the number of speeding tickets they have.

Don't look at technical violations of non-binding resolutions. Look at the overall actions, how often the country has started wars, how often the country has attacked others without provocation, and how much of a treat they are to you personally.

We obviously trust Israel with nukes, and they've violated more UN resolutions than the COMBINED TOTAL of the entire Middle Eastern nations! In fact, Israel has violated more UN resolutions than any other country on the planet, yet the zionist media and corrupt government has brainwashed you into believing that Israel isn't a threat, that they're the "good guys", despite all the historical evidence that Israel has not only carried out terrorist operations against their middle eastern neighbors, but the United States itself! Do some research into the intentional sinking of the USS Liberty, which was carried out by the Israeli government, in cooperation with the US government, to frame Egypt and bring the US into the Middle East and justify a war. It would have worked if not for the prying eyes of a Russian spy sub that captured the entire thing on tape. Do some research into the Lavon affair, while you're at it. There's dozens of other instances, too. Don't believe what your government tells you, and don't believe what the government-controlled media tells you either.

This is all nothing but BULLSHIT, with the hated U.S. threatening and bullying the member states to get what they want, sanctions on Iran even though Israel has had ILLEGAL nuclear weapons for over 20 years but has never been made to undergo intrusive inspections of its hidden and LIED about vast nuclear program or face harsh economic sanctions----and Israel is the terrorist country who should be CUT OFF from all U.S. taxpayer dollars, military arms and all support!

Under the NPT, Iran has every right to develop nuclear energy. This is just more of the Bush/Israeli plot to ramp up false justifications to attack Iran and frankly, to keep every country in the OIL rich Middle East weak, so they can be invaded and destroyed-----just as Bush has done Iraq and the zionist pigs have been doing to Palestine for the last 40 years. Iran would be NUTS Not to get Nukes. Should Israel or Bush strike, they will truly regret it and Americans will bear the brunt for the DUMB, A**hole "decider's" braindead decisions. Bolton, the ugly Yosemite Sam who no one can stand, was sent to the UN on a recess appointment to bully and threaten the member nations into doing the bidding of the Bushits. They ought to have learned that the Bush cannot be trusted ---particularly after Iraq, when the Bush called them "irrelevant." They should be just as "irrelevant" in imposing ANY punitive actions on Iran, who will ignore them and institute their own punitive actions on their enemies instead!

That's a good question. Why do we care? Iran is nowhere near capable of creating a nuclear weapon. The threat it to Israel, not the united states. However if Bush decides to go to war with Iran he knows that people won't accept it if it is just to defend Israel so they are exaggerating the nuclear threat from Iran. We should be more concerned with ensuring the stability of Pakistan, a nuclear power which was the home for some of the UK plotters, and N Korea who is nearly ready to test a bomb.

Of course I wouldn't trust them. No one, not even Russia and China, is saying, "Just trust the Iranians." The issue is that there are people who say, "We shouldn't trust them bust we have to work with them to change them," and there's others who say "If we can't trust them then we should nuke their whole country," and there's every opinion in between as well.

Its a false argument to claim our choices are either Ignore The Problem or Nuke em. There are many other choices than those, and again, NO ONE is saying, Let's just trust the Iranians. (well, except the Iranians and Hizbollah).

Trust has nothing to do with it. They are a sovereign nation and are not obligated to make people 'trust' them. How may lies do you think the US feeds just to its Allies? Trust - a word nothing more.
