Usually the transmission pan will have a drain plug if not you remove the pan on the bottom of the transmission carefully as you get to the last bolts the fluid will begin to drain have a pan available to catch the fluid (about 7 or 8 quarts) after you remove the pan you will have access to the filter which also should be changed. Look at the new filter to determine how it's attached to the transmission some are bolted others just push into place and are held there by the pan I'm not sure on your application then simply reinstall the pan after cleaning it thoroughly making sure you leave no residue on the inside as automatic transmission are very susceptible to contamination so clean is important. After the pan is reinstalled and tightened add fluid through the dipstick until the level is at the full line on the stick it's important to hold the brake and select drive and reverse two or three times to ensure you have all the air out of the system and the converter is full then a short test drive to ensure there are no leaks and one more check of the fluid level after the transmission is warm
