This is one of the easiest plants to propogate with cuttings. It seems as though you just can't kill it. Best bet is to put it in water and roots will begin to grow in a very short period of time. Here is a good site that will answer lots of house plant questions:

It is very easy to root a golden pothos. Cut the stem off just above a leaf bud. Remove lower leaves from stem before putting the stem into water. Change water about every 3 days to encourage roots to come out. You should notice roots in 9 to 14 days.
Another method is to place the stem still attached to main plant in a container filled with moist potting soil. Use hair pins or paper clip to keep stem in contact with the soil. Ensure that the soil is always moist. When there is new growth, cut the plantlet off from the main plant.

They do just fine in water on a window sill. If it's bright and warm, it should root with a week or 10 days. Just change the water every few days (the plant takes the oxygen out of the water, so it needs refreshing). Other than that, it should be a snap.

Most garden centers sell a product made for propagating plants. Depending on where you try, it will be called by different names, but it is a "dip and grow" substance. Some work for snips that root in just water, such as pothos, and other work for snips that root in soil, such as African violets. Follow the directions on the package, but you should change your water to keep it from getting filmy and moldy. You should see roots in about 2 weeks.
